The Universe ...

Publié le par Potiron

Today, Nasa is beaming the Beatles song "Across the Universe" into space to mark the 50th anniversary of the first launching of Explorer 1, the 45th anniversary of the Deep Space Network, and it also happens to be the 40th birthday of the first recording of the song.....

It's one of my favorite Beatles songs (but there are so many that I love...!)

Je me demande combien tout ça va couter, mais à part  ça je trouve que c'est un moyen poétique entre autre de communiquer avec les petits hommes verts (si il y en a,  LOL)
I wonder how much all this is going to cost, but apart from that, I find it's a poetic way to communicate with little green aliens (if there are any... LOL) why not????

Across the Universe
John Lennon / Paul McCartney

Words are flowing out like endless rain into a paper cup
They slither wildly as they slip away across the universe
Pools of sorrow, waves of joy are drifting through my opened mind
Possessing and caressing me

Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world

Images of broken light which dance before me like a million eyes
They call me on and on across the universe
Thoughts meander like a restless wind inside a letter box
They tumble blindly as they make their way across the universe

Jai Guru Deva OM

Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world

Sounds of laughter shades of life are ringing through my opened ears
Inciting and inviting me
Limitless undying love which shines around me like a million suns
It calls me on and on, across the universe

Jai Guru Deva OM

Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
